University of South Florida - Drs. Tammy Allen and Paul Spector (I/O Psychology), and Tom Bernard, Daisy Chang, Pete Rentos, and Yehia Hammad (Environmental and Occupational Health in the College of Public Health) have created an interdisciplinary concentration in OHP bridging coursework in the Psychology Department and College of Public Health. The psychology coursework includes graduate seminars in OHP and work-family in Psychology, and both occupational safety and methods coursework in Public Health. The program is supported by the NIOSH-funded Sunshine Education and Training Center (ERC) at USF. Through the ERC, the program provides interdisciplinary research and practice experiences working with faculty and students from a variety of backgrounds, including engineering, ergonomics, medicine, natural science, and nursing. |
